The 'Fantasy in F minor' is a late work of great stature, demanding of its players a more than usual sensitivity and pianistic capability. The two sets of 'Variations', in 'B flat' and 'B minor', are both compact, but contain much variety of mood and atmosphere. The 'Rondo in A major' and 'Allegro Lebensstunrme' are also significant works, rewarding both to play and to hear.
