Notes & Reviews:

The emergence of British guitar music during the second half of the twentieth century is due almost entirely to the great guitarist Julian Bream. It was he who commissioned music from a number of composers with international reputations, thus creating a whole new repertoire of guitar music, which had until then belonged on the sound world of Spain and Latin America.
