The name of this CD, Prestilagoyana takes its name from another famous guitar duo for which each of the works presented here were commissioned. The repertoire runs the gamut from the Gershwin flavored jazz of Pierre Petit; the lyrical finely French music of Jean-Yves Daniel-Lesur; the virtuosity of Joaquin Rodrigo to the playful elegance of Mario Castelnuovo-Tedesco.
