This is the first volume in a series devoted to the music of Japanese composer Yoshio Hachimura (1938-1985). The recordings were made between 1981 and the year of his death, 1985.

The bells are allowed to ring freely, creating dense blocks of sound. The entrance of the violin and vibraphone allows for new timbral variations and increased complexity. The piece emits a calm intensity through its clusters, melodic motives, and, sometimes, furious motion.
