Notes & Reviews:

Few musicians have commanded both the attention and the respect of their colleagues as did the French clarinetist Louis Cahuzac. This 2-Cd set offers the complete Danish studio recordings, featuring never-released Brahms and Schumann.

American Record Guide, January/February 2013
Some readers may feel that the picking apart of long-ago musicians, several of whom paved the way for players of the succeeding decades, is vicious and unfair. Yet if their recordings are going to be released to the general public of our time, they will be judged by higher standards. If Cahuzac could hear some of the clarinetists today he would likely be in awe - and very pleased.
