Notes & Reviews:
This is a reissue of recording made more than half a century ago. Music lovers should respond to the integrity and timeless musicality that can be heard so vividly on these recordings.
American Record Guide, May/June 2013
These are straightforward readings, nowhere near as compelling and energetic as the Vienna Vanguard recordings. The playing is sturdy and generic. My favorite performance on this set is the German Dances - light and beautifully pointed.
