Notes & Reviews:

Benoit Mernier (b1964) has emerged in recent years as the major Belgian composer of his generation. His aesthetics were influenced by studies with Philippe Boesmans and a tenure at IRCAM in Paris; he has been compared to Magnus Lindberg and Jonathan Harvey, yet has a style strongly identifiable as his own. 'An die nacht' contains three world premiere recordings.
