Many of the composers featured on this unique recording, such as Baumgartner, Eschmann, and Muller, actively promoted Hunerwadel's talents, resulting in ever-increasing contacts with her contemporaries. However, her career was short lived, passing away at the young age of 28. Her involvement with the likes of Wagner, Vieuxtemps, and Liszt reveal her inclusion in notable circles. This unusual release also reveals Hunerwadel, who was described by critics as "an excellent piano player, and a singer with a beautiful voice" as a talented composer of vocal works.
