Notes & Reviews:
Jerome Ducharme, First Prize Winner in the 2005 Guitar Foundation of America Competition, studied at the Montreal Conservatoire with Jean Vallieres and in Switzerland with Oscar Ghiglia. In this recital, featuring a guitar made by Rene Wilhelmy, Ducharme performs Falla's 'Homage to Debussy', Rodrigo's 'Tres piezas espanolas', which evokes the stamping feet of a flamenco dancer, and 'Appalachian Summer', a theme and variations written for the 2005 GFA Guitar Competition by Dunne.
