This disc is a lovely recital showcasing the renowned Swedish cellist Mats Rondin (b. 1960). Rondin is now considered one of the foremost Swedish cellists, active as both soloist and chamber musician, as well as being Professor of Cello at the Malmo Academy of Music. In the past few years he has also started a career as a conductor and has been leading all of Sweden's most prominent orchestras.
