Notes & Reviews:

On this recording, a joyous pre-Christmas performance in the Floral Hall of the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden has been captured on CD by Brass Classics. The concert, which formed part of a series by the Royal Opera House Brass Soloists, was given in December 2005 to a capacity audience. These excellent players were joined by sixteen members of the Chorus of the Royal Opera House, and by the talented young bass Matthew Rose, to perform a wide variety of seasonal music, both vocal and instrumental, under the baton of the ensemble's Artistic Director Eric Crees.
