Ensemble Composers

Notes & Reviews:

Clavijo's travel notebook, thanks to his talent for story-telling and his exceptional mastery of the medieval Castilian language, leaves us traces of a journey at once symbolic and inspiring. The group Constantinople has taken this celebrated route and transformed it into a sort of musical voyage. Using musical and historical sources from the regions visited by Clavijo, dating from the period of his travels, the ensemble has attempted to revisit his journey through in its own, unique way.
