In 2004 Sol Gabetta was awarded the prestigious Credit Suisse Young Artist Award, one part of which included a concert with the Vienna Philharmonic under the baton of Valery Gergiev at the Lucerne Festival in 2004. On her debut album for RCA Red Seal, she is accompanied by the Muncher Rundfunkorchester conducted by Ari Rasilainen.
