Toccata - Baroque and Neo-Baroque Music for Harp / Sellmann

Notes & Reviews:

It was only at the beginning of the twentieth century when the harp became successful as a solo instrument. Original works which didn't meet the demands have been "tuned up" in sound and virtuosity; on the other hand there were a lot of new compositions in baroque style. Volker Sellmann plays original and transcribed compositions, between these he places stylistic copies, and shows a Baroque "painting" with Romantic and Modern shades.
