Notes & Reviews:

Grupo Sax-Ensemble and friends give a tour-de-force performance of three colorful works by Spanish avant-garde giant Luis de Pablo and three of his international contemporaries.

This CD contains part of the works performed during homages paid to Luis de Pablo in 2000 at the time of his 70th birthday. Along with three works by the maestro, a group of works is brought together by composers whose musical aesthetic is very close to his, such as Donatoni (1927), Marco (1942) and Gubaidulina (1931).
