Notes & Reviews:
This welcome reissue celebrates a long British tradition of ceremonial organ music. Several of these composers were organists or choristers at Exeter Cathedral. The Walton, Purcell and Elgar works were, of course, not originally composed for organ, but these arrangements make splendid disc mates for the other works.
