Notes & Reviews:

Thomas Tudway was a chorister in the Chapel Royal and was organist of King's College, Cambridge. He was the second person to hold the title of professor of music at Cambridge University, receiving the title on acquisition of his doctorate in 1706. In addition to performing and composing, Tudway embarked on a project to gather together an anthology of church music, which eventually expanded to six large volumes of nearly 3,000 pages of music.
