Notes & Reviews:

Tartini, (b.1692) is regarded as one of the most important composers of his generation. The Italian wrote over 130 concertos, six of which form the subject of this engaging release. From the fast movements' folk-imbued virtuosity to the arresting poignancy of the slow movements, these concertos, performed by the Interpreti Veneziani, reveal Tartini's deftness as an instrumental composer.

American Record Guide, March / April 2013
The violin concertos are naturally more colorful and make more of an impression, since they have orchestral accompaniment. They are quite expressive, and some movements even have subtitles, like 'The mystery of my soul' and 'I honor my mystery'. The concertos are divided among five soloists: Giuliano Fonatanella, Enrico Casazza, Sebastiano Maria Vianello, Paolo Ciociola, and Cristiano Rossi. They are also fine, and the recorded sound is perfectly balanced and very present.
