Notes & Reviews:

American Record Guide, July/August 2013
The remainder of Schimpf's recital includes a Tombeau de Couperin that is brilliant and sunny. It has just the right amount of pedal to keep us close to the impressionist world without sacrificing clarity. Scriabin's Preludes Op. 74 are played as voluptuous and sensuous as their craft dictates and with full appreciation.
