Notes & Reviews:

Eduardo Paniagua here leads Musica Antigua in a recording of music of the 16th Century Spanish court. During her reign, Juana I of Castile replaced her Flemish-Burgundian style musical chapelle with Spanish musicians, using instruments such as keyboard, harp, recorder, vihuela, shawms, cornets, bombardas, and timales.

A collection of music from the Spanish Renaissance. Eduardo Paniagua, leader of medieval music ensemble Musica Antigua, presents a new CD dedicated to the music of Spanish Renaissance.
