American Record Guide, July/August 2013
St Florian Monastery is the largest monastery in Upper Austria and is one of the most impressive examples of Baroque architecture in the country. It is the home of a distinguished boys' choir where Anton Bruckner got his vocal training. Four members of the St Florian Boys' Choir are heard in this program. Their lead singer, Alois Mnhlbacher, sings four solo songs and is joined in turn by his fellow trebles in 21 duets. The boys are well trained and they sing beautifully.
